Design Practice classes are based on design exercises (designing a poster, book, website, etc.), the objective of this workshop is to deepen the comprehension of the principals behind visual communication applied to signs systems and graphic design. The workshop will be adapted to the specific needs of particular students.


Specific objectives:

‣ Comprehension of project context (client, target audience, timeframe);
‣ Brief analysis and comprehension;
‣ Concept orientation (context dependent);
‣ Concept elaboration (creative process, animation possibilities);
‣ Concept presentation (sketches, styles, techniques);
‣ Comprehension of the theoretical principals behind visual communication; 
‣ Implementation of the theoretical principals into practice (specific to each student).
‣ Final presentation (elaboration of the final image);
‣ Reception and reaction to feedback on the final illustration.
