Design Practice classes are based on design exercises (designing a poster, book, website, etc.) aimed at developing students’ design skills, specifically, the understanding of the context and the creative process related to graphic design.
Specific objectives:
‣ Comprehension of project context (client, target audience, timeframe);
‣ Brief analysis and comprehension;
‣ Concept orientation (context dependent);
‣ Concept elaboration (creative process, animation possibilities);
‣ Concept presentation (sketches, styles, techniques);
‣ Final presentation (elaboration of the final image);
‣ Reception and reaction to feedback on the final illustration.
